The Computer Museum at Netherlands is known as Stichting Computermusem. The museum-depot is located at Binckhorstlaan 251 te Den Haag, Binckhorstlaan 251 at The Hague. The building was formerly known as "Dutch Aviation College". It is open to public during the... more weekdays from 10AM to 5PM. Operational since 1992, the museum has painstakingly maintained a collection of computer equipment and accessories. Magazines, manuals, journals and books are also available for reference. Some of the attractions of the museum include Apple II, which was the first PC to hit the market. Its successors, the Macintosh PC, Philips and several IBM models are also on display. Mainframes like PDP-8 and PDP-12 are well-preserved.A Honeywell-316 mini-computer is the latest addition to the museum. Apart from guided tours, the museum also conducts lectures and demonstrations which depict the evolution of the computers. For 10 Euros, one can order a specially-made CD from the museum which details the history of computers in a well-presented format.
