Overall Guide : Arts lovers will find interesting to enjoy themselves at the Van Gogh Museum containing some of this extraordinary artist’s masterpieces. But in Amsterdam there are many other museums, though: - The Rijks Museum, where can be admired one... more of the best collections by Rembrandt. - The Stedelijk Museum with its collection on contemporary art. - The Museum Amstelkring whose setting is a 17th century merchant house in its own original style. - Rembrandt’s house and the site where he rests at Westerkerk Church. Same there, is the crown Amsterdam was gifted by Maximilian I in 1489, and from the steeple an extraordinary view of the city can be enjoyed. Westerkerk is one of Amsterdam’s symbols. - The Oude Kerk, the oldest church in Amsterdam. - Artis, Amsterdam’s zoo, is an attraction in itself. - Vondelpark, one of the best parks all over Europe, is not to be missed, at all! It is the ideal place to enjoy some relax and enjoy free time activities! - Zeeburg is a residential area with modern blocks, and where are some of the most attractive and enjoyable restaurants. - The Albert Cuyp Market is a very noice place where to walk to: here international Amesterdam is and lively stands! Don’t fail a cruise at dinner time! Such an occasion will offer the opportunity to admire how beautiful the canals are at night, and enjoy a high quality cousine! In an area known as Jordaan are many nice, though crowded, bars where is nice to enjoy a drink in the evening. Amsterdam is, as a matter of fact, an extraordinary and beautiful city with some of the most beautiful views in Europe! Its four canals: Herengracht, Keizersgracht, Prinsengracht and Singel, along with its wordly famous museums, make Amestardam what it really is: unique! One of the of the most attractive placet is, no doubt, Bourbon Street in the Leidse Kruisstraat, where some very good music can be enjoyed. Everything is highly attractive here: its typical twisted house, the canals, its nice parks, the cosy and friendly pubs, its cobblestones streets!

Overall Guide : The reason that Amsterdam beats all other cities is the general laid back atmosphere of the place but yet everything works. It has all the facilities, open spaces, entertainment, museums, food, cafes, restaurants, and so on that most other cities... more have but on top of that is the lack of the frantic atmosphere of most other big cities. The people are friendly, relaxed, welcoming but yet it is a city which works well and one does not get the frustrations and inefficiencies of the other laid back cities. Amsterdam has the perfect, and unique, combination of laid back efficency.

Overall Guide : Amsterdam is a nice old city with lots of entertainment and nightlife. Lots to see and good hotels to stay. A boot tour of the famous canals is a must. Then there are the vanGogh and Rijks museums. It is easy... more to get around with the city streetcars, metro and busses. There is also a direct train connection from the airport to downtown central station. Have a nice stroll at the canals and see all the lights. A walk through the red district can be interesting. Enjoy a drink at a terrace on it Rembrants square.
Not to be missed Bike and Walking Tours , Dam Square , Boot tour of the canals

Overall Guide : Beautiful city, for art lovers, there's plenty to see. Do not miss the bus tours in the surrounding areas, such as the Island of Fishermen. It's cold in February, but if it snows, the city is transformed into a charming... more Christmas landscape.

Overall Guide : I go to this wonderful city at least once a year, I love the laid back attitude which is not generally found in a capital city. The small bars are friendly and have an atmosphere that we in England once... more had in our local pubs. Don't miss the boat trip, its a great way to learn about the city's history.
Not to be missed boat trips , Museumplein , Red Light District

Overall Guide : The "I Amsterdam card" - get one. You'll get vouchers to spend in the city, discounts and free entry to several museums and attractions and, depending on the type of card you get, free public transport in the centre.

Overall Guide : It's a city on a human scale. The Van Gogh museum is unmissable. The multicultural restaurants and entertainment venues are nice. The historical centre is interesting and public transport is good, it even gets you to the airport.
