Its four canals: Herengracht, Keizersgracht, Prinsengracht and Singel, along with its wordly famous museums, make Amestardam what it really is: unique! One of the of the most attractive placet is, no doubt, Bourbon Street in the Leidse Kruisstraat, where some very good music can be enjoyed. Everything is highly attractive here: its typical twisted house, the canals, its nice parks, the cosy and friendly pubs, its cobblestones streets!

Overall Guide : The reason that Amsterdam beats all other cities is the general laid back atmosphere of the place but yet everything works. It has all the facilities, open spaces, entertainment, museums, food, cafes, restaurants, and so on that most other cities ... The people are friendly, relaxed, welcoming but yet it is a city which works well and one does not get the frustrations and inefficiencies of the other laid back cities. Amsterdam has the perfect, and unique, combination of laid back efficency.

Overall Guide : Amsterdam is a nice old city with lots of entertainment and nightlife. Lots to see and good hotels to stay. A boot tour of the famous canals is a must. There is also a direct train connection from the airport to downtown central station. Have a nice stroll at the canals and see all the lights. A walk through the red district can be interesting. Overall Guide : It's a city on a human scale. The Van Gogh museum is unmissable. The multicultural restaurants and entertainment venues are nice. The historical centre is interesting and public transport is good, it even gets you to the airport.
