Port Elizabeth is city in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. Being a major seaport, it is situated on the Algoa Bay. It is one of the three cities in the Nelson Mandela Metropole.
The city experiences moderate climate with the temperatures generally ranging between 9ºC and 26ºC. The summers are moderately hot, while the winters are mild. Port Elizabeth boasts of more sunny days than any other city on the coast of South Africa.
Port Elizabeth has an approximate population of about 1,005,800. Acting as the centre for motor and vehicle industry in South Africa, Port Elizabeth houses companies such as General Motors, Volkswagen, and Ford etc.
The area exhibits a diverse ethnic make-up. It has a rich legacy of ancient civilisation. The port developed into one of the earliest commercial centres in the country.

Port Elizabeth is a great place for surfing, kite surfing, mountain biking, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling or birding! It can be a little windy - but this is a great value for money city!

Overall Guide : It is very boring in PE there is nothing that attracts the visitors. The city has an old building all over. The airport has got one store because it is too small. There is only a casino the people are... more using it to take their families out. Casino is very dangerous to relay on or to take out their stress.

Overall Guide : It is a family destination not a place if all you want is clubbing. Its great for watersports and the whole outdoor thing. Weather is varied and there are great places to eat that would suit all budgets. I would... more say Addo elephant park is well worth a visit also sundays river where you can canoe and fish. I wouldn't advise the lion park.
