Museo Interactivo de la Musica in Málaga
Museo Interactivo de la Musica or the interactive museum of music is situated in Malaga, Andalucía. Created in 2002, it comprises of over 300 instruments from different eras, cultures and countries, making it one of the most comprehensive private collections of Europe and Spain, for its size and variety.
One of the main attractions of this museum is that the visitors can get to interact whilst organizing musical outreach activities by using computers and technology throughout the exhibition space. There is a sign that says, “Please touch – please play”, which encourages the visitors to learn through their own physical experimentation.
This is an interesting museum for all ages and fascinating for children as it is interactive. There are 400 musical instruments, from different countries, from different ages. The owner of this large musical instrument collection is Miguel Angel Piedrola Orta.
