Jandia was originally a small island apart that joined the rest of the island in the years, thanks to the sea and the wind which carried sands and rubble for centuries until filling the gap between the two lands.
At Punta Jandia there is a lighthouse and it is an extremely windy place, great for surfing and for trekking.
Now Jandia is one of the most amazing location of Fuerteventura.
