Overall Guide : Arusha City is located in the north-eastern part of Tanzania and is said to be the halfway point between Cape Town and Cairo. It is surrounded by some of Africa's most famous landscapes and national parks (e.g. Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater,... more Lake Manyara, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park, and Mount Kilimanjaro). The City is situated at the foot of Mount Meru (4,566 m or 14,980 ft). Elevation at the City level is 1,400m.The climate in Arusha is therefore pleasantly cool year-round. During the meeting, we can expect average temperatures to range from 16°C to 24°C in the day and night, respectively. There will be little to no chance of rain. The proximity of Arusha to world renowned tourist destinations and the nearby presence of Arusha National Park and Mount Meru make the City a popular tourist hub.The City has a population of approximately 300,000 people and is also an important administrative centre for regional and continental activities. Arusha hosts the headquarters for the East African Community and the African Court on Human and People´s Rights. Thus, there is both capacity and experience in Arusha to successfully host a meeting of our magnitude. There are a sufficient number of hotels and hostels of acceptable and variable quality that can accommodate a wide range of budgets. Additionally, for all of your request about Safari packages in East Africa, Holidays Packages , Cheap flights , Tourist services , Mount trekking packages , things to do in Arusha , Hotels in Arusha , Book shops , Gift shops , Car Hires , Volunteer to Tanzania , Visiting villages arround Arusha town , Visit woman groups in Arusha , Ophanages, Ata Travel Tanzania will direct you to the right pont of your choice as it remain as a main tourist directory in Arusha town..

Overall Guide : Arusha is characterized by Masai warriors, in full regalia, and a busy market displaying Masai craftsmanship. You’ll also find the local clock tower here at the midpoint between Cairo and Cape Town. Between Kilimanjaro and Meru is theArusha National Park.... more It has a range of habitats: from lakes where water birds gather to the summit of Mt. Meru.> Visit the Arusha Declaration Monument Museum for a glimpse of the Tanzanian freedom struggle. Don’t miss the National Natural History Museum and its display of the Laetoli Footprints, set in volcanic ash, dating 3,500,000 years ago. Every year on the first Sunday of August, international and local athletes participate in the Mount Meru International Marathon.    Arusha is known for its lively music scene, especially Tanzanian hip-hop, a blend of Maasai and Swahili influences with western music, known as Bongo Flava.  You can catch a bit of this at popular local clubs like Colobus and the Blue Tripple ‘A’.
