Vedi tutto outdoor, it can get quite hot and humid just walking around. The worst part is having to take a ferry back and forth, and the wait for the ferry is very long. Go only if you have no other plans and that you just want to check it out. Otherwise, not worth going at all. I'd go to the Chatuchak market if you want to do some serious Thai style shopping.
