If you are interested in trying a safari experience, to be strictly in contact with wild life and rare birds in the Eastern Africa, Great Lakes Safari is a leader Tour Operator in arranging this kind of adventure trips.   Placed in... more Uganda, they offer their trips and experience through Uganda National Park, Tanzania, Kenya and Rwanda   Really specialized in Bird Watching tour, tourists who join the Birding tour 1 usually, at the end, feel very happy for their choice.   The first day, a free transport service pick you up at the airport, and drive you to your accommodation. Then if there is enough time, the adventure begin with a visit to UWEC, which contains more than 170 species of birds in captivity   The day 2, after having breakfast, departure to visit the most important park of Uganda, the Murchison Falls National Park, with is 450 different species of birds, and a stunning natural surrounding.   The day 3 early in the morning, tourists are led by an expert ranger in discovering the northern bank of the Nile, and enjoy the view of Elephants, Giraffes, Waterbucks and much more, in their natural place, in their natural behaviours, and a great variety of woodland birds.   The day 4 after a 8 hours journey, and several amazing places viewed, groups arrive to Fort Portal, famous for its tea plantation, where they restore before moving to Kibale Forest Park, in their first class lodge at Primate Lodge Kibale.   The day 5 an amazing walk through Bigodi Swamp, led by local communities, allow travellers to watch the Great Blue Turaco, a bird that nobody wants to miss! In the afternoon, after having lunch, tourists walk on the Region of the Crater Lakes, through hundred of small lakes, and hundred varieties of birds, such as Blue Headed Coucals, White Spotted Fluff-tail, and much more.   The day 6 travellers come back to Kampala, to their Hotel, for relaxing or having other amazing sightseeing.   The last day, after the farewell breakfast, tourists leave Kampala, and are brought to the Airport for free.   In each tour everything is provided, from meals and accommodation to the entrance fee at the park and airport transfer.
