There is a café which serves healthy food and a crèche for looking after children as well.... more Vicar Lane is a major open air shopping area and the Precinct is another shopping area with pedestrian shopping options. The Pomegranate Theatre is a Victorian style building which has a small auditorium with a seating capacity of five hundred people. There are a variety of shows and concerts held here. Chesterfield Museum is an art gallery which has a fine collection of archaeological pieces and antiques which date back to the development of the town. Bolsover Castle is a residential palace which was built in 1612 by Sir Charles Cavendish and has splendid interiors as well as a wonderful garden which one can take a tour of.
