Jersey is situated to the southern island of the British Isles, England and is 14 miles from the coast of France.
This island is an amazing destination for family outings, as it is home to several tourist attractions. Some of the worthwhile sights include the Jersey Museum, the Central Market, Occupation Tapestry, the Jersey Maritime Museum and the Island Fortress Occupation Museum. The a'Maizin Maze at La Hougue Farm other than the Living Legend Village are also worth of a visit.
Jersey enjoys a warmer, more continental climate than most of the UK and therfore offers visitors more of an opportunity to enjoy the countryside and beach. Jersey is also the home of the famous 'Jersey Cream' which is derived from a local breed of cow and is especially rich and healthy - so make sure you try summer strawberry's with Jersey cream if you can!

Overall Guide : Beautiful bays with marvellous sandy beaches and historic buildings of great interest. Lots of good restaurants. Friendly people. Not to be missed are the 2 beautiful old castles Elizabeth Castle in St Aubin's Bay and Mont Orguiel at Gorey. Another ... Leggi tutto good tip is to visit Durrell formerly The Jersey Zoo. Lots of relics left from the German Occupation 1940-1945, such as the War Tunnels formerly know as the German Underground Hospital, which was built by slaves brought over to the island from Russian, Poland and many other countries.
