Kingston upon Hull or simply Hull is the famous city situated in the East Riding of Yorkshire district, England. The city is situated on the northern bank of the Humber estuary. The city is named after the River Hull which flows through the city. Hull city is spread across both the sides of the River Hull and its junction with Humber.
The Hull city stretches across an area of 27.6 sq. miles. The city is densely populated with 256,200 residents as per the 2006 census.
