Overall Guide : The Lincoln Cathedral is one of the tallest cathedrals in England. Apart from housing a huge bell known as Great Tom, the place displays exceptional architecture. The interiors of the cathedral are featured in the famous movie ‘The Da Vinci... more Code’. One of the biggest markets in Europe is the Lincoln Christmas Market. It is an annual event with over 300 stalls selling a variety of goods. It also hosts fun fairs, complete with rides and games. The place is perfect for the whole family to enjoy a day trip. The International Clowns Festival is among the most famous international festivals in England. Visitors get to see hundreds of clowns and enjoy performances, parades and activity workshops with music providing the perfect backdrop. An interesting event showcasing the development of the city is the Lincoln Carnival which features music, dance, boat races, craft stalls and much more. The event is concluded with a magnificent sound and light show.

Overall Guide : I enjoyed all my time in Lincoln, pedestrian shopping area very good. Lots of different things to see, very photographic, new art and old buildings blend in well.
