In the South West of England, Swindon is a large town of Wiltshire. It spreads in an area of 40 km2. It is situated between Bristol and Reading with London nearby. The 2001 census recorded the population of the town to be 155,432. Swindon holds a great value for The Great Western Railways

The city has a temperate climate, with generally has equal length of summers and winters. The dominating feature of the landscape are the Chalk hills of the Wiltshire Downs towards the south and east.

Overall Guide : Wonderful place for a holiday whatever time of year. Plenty of traffic lights to watch, good countryside, convenient for motorway and trains.

Overall Guide : Wear a Jumper, always Windy in outside shopping centre, even in Summer. A nice collection of shops and a tidy town.
