Boston Buckminster in Boston ★

Fancy staying at one of the first hotels built in the Boston area and designed by famous architect Stanford White? The Boston Buckminster offers great gay-friendly downtown Boston hotel accommodation at reasonable prices. Located not far from Boston University where Beacon Street crosses Brookline Avenue, the Boston Buckminster Hotel makes the top of the list in terms of value-for-money accommodation in the area. Don't be fooled by the 1-star-rating, this Boston hotel far exceeds expectations not only in terms of cleanliness and standards, but also thanks to extensive guest services such as a laundry room and kitchen on each floor, as well as a wake-up service provided by a team of 24-hour staff dedicated to making sure your stay in Boston is as stress-free and smooth-running as possible. The local area is bursting with cute restaurants and cafés for you try, however on site dining spoils you for choice. If you're feeling like some Italian cuisine go down to Pizzeria Uno. For a taste of the East pop, choose the Maluken Japanese/Chinese fusion Restaurant. Points of interest easily accessible from the Boston Buckminster Hotel include the Museum of Fine Arts, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Museum of Science, Fenway Park and the Fleet Center (home of the Boston Celtics and Bruins), Longwood Medical Area, Newbury Street, Faneuil Hall, Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Ballet and the Wang Center for the Performing Arts.
