Recensioni Old Town

At about 120 miles from Buenos Aires is the commercial, cultural and educational hub of Uruguay, known as Old Town. ‘Ciudad Vieja’ is the old historic centre which features a lovely city environment with sycamore-lined streets, fine dining restaurants, open ... Vedi tutto air markets and sidewalk cafes. There are many jazz festivals that are held in Montevideo and many popular local and international jazz artists attend. ‘Peotonal Sarandi’, the new pedestrian walkway has tourists filling it around the year, in order to shop in the many upscale boutiques and enjoy the old-city ambience. Bars and cafes stay open till late hours and many of them till dawn. The highest number of casual as well as finer restaurants, bars and cafes can be found in this part of Montevideo. The old town holds a warm and European feel. The waterfront market of Montevideo is also a good place to browse though, especially on weekends.
