Overview

Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia, is located on a limestone plateau 4,198 feet (1,280 meters) above sea level.

Lusaka enjoys a wonderful climate with warm, sunny summers and mild winters with loads of sunshine.
Lusaka was founded by Europeans in 1905 and it the name of the headman of a nearby African village. Its main growth occurred after 1935, when it replaced Livingstone as the capital of the British colony of Northern Rhodesia.

Overall Guide : Lusaka is full of charming and busy markets, as the Lumburma Market, ready to be visited and enjoyed. Lusaka National Museum is surely one of the most attractive public buildings in the capital. This cultural history museum... more shows the story of Zambia in four main sections: Ethnography Witchcraft History Contemporary Art. Kabwata Cultural Centre, located on Burma Road, is probably the city’s best spot for buying hand-carved crafts. Other interesting sights are the National Assembly building, the university area, the Anglican cathedral, the State House and the Munda Wanga Botanic and Zoological Gardens. Not far away from Lusaka is the Kalimba Reptile Park, which displays a good variety of crocodiles, snakes and chameleons.

Overall Guide : The people are very cultural, frinedly. there are lots of entertainment spots. They place a high value on their traditional food. Although some resturants do try to bring different cuisine depending on your preference. Locals can notice a clueless visitor,... more so its best to be vigilant and not trust so easily. Overall, its just like any other city, fast life, club scene, and variety.
Not to be missed Reptile Farm , clubbing , traditional food tasting

Overall Guide : A town full of potential but still very lacking in entertainment and infrastructure. Bloody expensive too. As the capital city of the country with the highest population, you'd expect a lot more. it is quite fancy from the airport to... more around the first roundabout, but from there on, the environment is crying for development. there is a lot that can be done to change all this.
Not to be missed chicagos , the misty

Overall Guide : People are friendly and the place is safe compared to other african countries. Place is very dirty with outdated buildings which sad to say are mashrooming in this modern age. The road network is equally bad.

Overall Guide : Very nice, good surroundings and the city needs people to clean it. More roads need to be done and lighting systems need to be improved and worked on. Some roads need to be added to help with less traffic in... more the city.
