Overall Guide : The town centre is full of small busy bazaars and mosques, reflecting typical Egyptian life. Further inland are the Desert Mountains, which offer desert tours. Hurghada is a centre for aquatic sports; windsurfing, sailing, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling and diving. The... more unique underwater gardens are an extraordinary experience. You can view exotic fish and coral reefs through glass bottom boats or take the unique submarine ride on offer. The city is a gateway to some of the most exquisite diving sites in the Red Sea, providing access to many uninhabited offshore reefs and islands. Marine Museum is a marine biology station and also has a small aquarium. Hurghada is known as a party town. It has clubs and discos that are open well into the night. The most well known are Calypso and Papas Beach. Also visit the popular Alf Leila Wa Leila (One thousand and one nights). This open-air arena is renowned for belly dancing and Arabic and Nubian folklore.

Overall Guide : Hurghada is a place to go to enjoy yearly sun, excellent water activities (Diving, snorkeling, kiting, windsurf). You can stay in large 5 star resorts for a budget and the area is very safe. I have stayed in El Gouna... more (nearby) which is a town built with lagoon, offers a lot of restaurant and shopping as well in a nice architecture and very clean environement. I just love it!

Overall Guide : I went to Hurghada in June. The weather was perfect (hot, but with just the right breeze to ease the heat). -You should: ride camels in the desert and go snorkeling near the coral reef. For those who want to... more do something more lively I recommend a ride in the desert in a jeep or on quads. It was a relaxing and fun holiday.
