Calangute is situated in the northern part of Goa. The capital of Goa, Panaji, is about 9 miles from this place.

Overall Guide : There are many interesting places to visit in Calangute and things to do . At the Kerkar Art Complex, there are art and crafts exhibitions. One can witness an Indian classical dance and music concert, if you visit on Thursday ... Leggi tutto or Friday. The church of St. Alex is about 400 years old. The structure has a dome and towers. It is a splendid work of architecture. The prime activity in Calangute is beach hopping. One can visit the Anjuna and Baga beaches as these are close by. To enjoy the natural beauty, one can go to the quiet and secluded beaches like Candolim and Vagator. The Saturday bazaar of Calangute is reputed for the items like foodstuff, souvenirs, pottery and textiles. From Calangute, one can arrange for a boat trip along the Zuari or Mandovi rivers. Here, if one is fortunate enough, it is possible to view dolphins and crocodiles.

Overall Guide : we have been to calangute 12 times and are looking to book again for april it is an amazing place although on a first visit you would be asking yourself like i did my god where have i brought us ... Leggi tutto but after a good nights sleep after a long journey this place grows on you and the people are lovely and never forget you although there are thousands of people going see the cows walk the streets more road sense than most of us the elephants walk on by wonderful very busy roads taxis cheap and food and drinks cant fault the place
