Overall Guide : Great town and surrounding area. Well worth the a visit. Its History... its shopping... For me it was the golf, the beaches, the walks and most importantly the people. Yeats is burried at Drumcliff. Queen Maeve is reportedly burried on... more top of Knockrea mountain and the view of Benbulben mountain from Rathcormac is one of the most photographed in Ireland. !

Overall Guide : I have after being in 20 countries, settled in sligo. Its not the tidiest town in the world, but its the same as any. Good and bad, and there are public toilets in tesco for all the tourest. There are... more some lovely buildings to visit and come here for dure if your into yates. Either of them.

Overall Guide : Sligo is a waste of time for any tourist visit. Dirty, aggressive, and expensive. There are plenty of pubs, but not a single public toilet. Avoid the place.
