San Teodoro has a beach called La Cinta which is the widest and longest and also has the silkiest sand on the island. It is the home of the kite boarding festival which is held in the month of September. Behind there lays Stagno di San Teodoro which is a marshland area with a lake that is a home and habitat for many wildlife species. The water out there is crystal clear. It is an ideal place for surfing and scuba diving. One must definitely visit San Teodoro Lagoon so as to view the pink flamingos and other rare birds. Another famous beach which is in the direction of Capo Coda Cavallo is the Lu Impostu – Brandinchi. One more example for beach is L’Isuledda. The island is filled with yellows of mimosa and wild gorse. The walkways are lined up with fresh blue lavender blends with white cistos. But during spring the colors fade and the red corn poppies begin to bloom. San Teodoro is heavenly paradise for those who love fine dining which includes fragrant fresh bread, delicious meats roasted on an open pit, amazing seafood and numerous Sardinian Pecorino Cheese as well as fresh fruits and vegetables.
