Overall Guide : Clacton-on-sea is a clean friendly town, easy access from London by car or train. Good facilities for days out with children, beach, bowling, pier, cheap fun crabbing keeps the kids quite for hours. Two theartres, cinema with very reasonable tickets... more from £2.50 per person. Range of restaurants with prices to suite all pockets. Do not take any notice of TV portrayal of Clacton, every town this size has a small area where young people hang out, get drunk and act like dumber & dumber. Most of Clacton's residents had no idea this goes on! Its the old saying never judge a book by its cover. Clacton is a nice place to live over 55,000 residents prove it.
