Overall Guide : Dolforwyn Castle It is an excellent illustration of the type of castles erected by the Welsh princes as an opposition to the ones constructed  by the English within Wales. It is placed along a wooded ridge which overlook the Severn... more Valley the site commands superb views in all directions except east.   The castle is fairly archaic in its modeling in comparison to the structures found elsewhere. An  rectangular dais was cut down from a rock which was some 240 feet by 90 feet and the original castle consisted of a rectangular keep to the  south west end area of the dais and a spherical surpass on the reverse end. The two constructions were then linked by fortifications, which helped in making a rectangular shaped field, which had a D shaped tower on the northern wall. The enclosed area was separated into two by a ditch cut through the rock and a two storey structure; it was built beside the north wall. The foremost foyer was through the west wall of the castle and a smaller way in was had been prepared in the south wall. Brecknock Museum It has a variety of local relic from both prehistory toping the Iron Age, the Bronze Age, the Stone Age and the period of Roman Britain, Roman Wales and the Dark Ages, in its exhibits. It also has displays from the historical medieval period . The rare displays include a gravestone of a cavalryman from Y Gaer, Brecon Roman fort and. a Dugout (boat) or primitive canoe from Llangorse Lake. It also has an art gallery. It is placed within the shire hall, here in prior years inquest court cases, Ogof Agen Allwedd Popularly recognized as Aggy, it is 37½ km long, it is single of the greatest cave systems in Wales, and also the greatest cave system on the Llangattock steep ridge.  Numerous encircling trips can be done, but all these trips start from the squat way in. The encircling trips are inclusive of the Grand Circle which is by the side of Main Stream Passage, it has four rock chokes in it, and the Southern Stream Passage, which is a long, and a wet and a dreary passage while the Outer and the Inner Circles, comprise of Turkey Streamway.
