Snowdonia is a national park in the northern part of Wales in the United Kingdom. This region which is home to approximately 26,000 inhabitants attracts millions of visitors from everywhere.
Snowdonia has a unique topography which includes mountain ranges and a long coastline and is watered by several lakes and rivers. It was also the source of most of the slate in the world; however, most of the quarries are no longer functioning.
Snowdonia receives a fair amount of rainfall and the mountain tops are often covered by mist and fog. The average temperature in the summer is 15°C and during winter the temperature hovers around 5°C.
Early in the history of this region, it served as a natural fortress for the Princes of Wales. Fifty years ago, the national park was established—the first of its kind in Wales.

Overall Guide : I thought it was a great walk, with very good views the entire way up. The Peny route is probably the best in my opinion, as the Miners route is a very fast ascent/descent, but then has a long flat... more area. The views from the top are amazing, however some parts on the way up aren't easy to see where the trail goes so you have to have a look around. Also, be careful as a lot of the rock faces higher up are more dangerous and sloped without a clear path.
Not to be missed Snowdon , Views , Go walking
