Warrington borough is located in the county of Cheshire in England, UK. This beautiful town lies on the banks of the River Mersey.

The Manchester Ship Canal runs through the southern part of this huge town. The Mainline of the West Coast goes through the centre of Warrington. The town was originally in Lancashire. However, now the town is listed under the governance of Cheshire.

The population of Warrington has grown in leaps and bounds in recent years. According to the census of 2001, the population of Warrington, including eighteen civil parishes, is 194,000. Recently, Warrington town was included in the city of Manchester as part of the development strategy of the Northern Way.
The town of Warrington lies in the North West of England. As a result it experiences temperate weather. The winters are mild while the summers are cooler in this region. Tourists can visit the area at any time through the year.

Overall Guide : Warrington offers a warm welcome to its visitors. The Town Hall is a major tourist attraction with its huge gates, known as the Golden Gates. Tourists can see the finest example of Palladian style in the hall's architecture. Information about the Scottish regiments is on display in the Scottish Regimental Museum. This museum exhibits important facts, figures and artefacts related to the regiments. Another similar museum dealing with the South Lancashire Regiment is located at the Peninsula Barracks in Warrington. This regiment came into existence in 1881. The museum records the history of this regiment. It holds a large number of historical artefacts. Tourists can visit an enormous number of churches in Warrington. This list includes St. Wilfrid Church, St. Oswald's Church and Holy Trinity church.

Overall Guide : It's a good place, just the bus prices are rediculous and charging for my dog... Also there should be a primark an less empty shops its beginning to get depressive but the youth cafe is amazing and so is chilli ... Leggi tutto grill and funky dory the shoe shop. There really does need to be some new shops where the empty ones are.
