Overall Guide : Flint is the seventh largest city in Michigan which lies within the humid continental climate zone with four distinct seasons. Summer is very warm and humid. The city of Flint is served by various bus lines. For travel within and... more around the city, the Flint Mass Transportation Authority provides daily local bus services. There is also a very good security service around town making it a very safe place. One of the main attractions that I enjoyed the most is the stepping stone falls, One of the most picturesque spots in Genesee County, this beautiful manmade falls holds back the Flint River, creating the Mott Lake, and the water cascades over an intricate patchwork of steps and levels. A scenic path leads visitors to a series of overlooks and underwater lights illuminate the falls at night.

Overall Guide : Flint is a pretty great place to live and visit. The health care community is diverse and has the best Doctors and hospitals in the state. Besides the automoblie industry being in decline, Flint has many other areas for people... more to work and study. We have many movie theaters, dance clubs, restaurants, a planitarium, skating rinks, museum, a children's museum (so much fun!) and many other things to do no matter what your intrests, we have something for everyone. Of course, the crime rate here is quite high, as reported on many occasions. But this is limited to only a certain section of town (like many other cities).
Not to be missed Longway Planetarium & Sloan Museum , Whiting Auditorium~ Theater , Children's Museum
