Page is a city located in Coconino County in Arizona, USA. This city is located at a very short distance from Las Vegas and Phoenix. Page was listed as a city on 1 March 1975. It has a population of close to 9,000 inhabitants and has an area of about 43 sq km.
Settlement in this area started during the construction of the Glen Canyon Dam, which is a landmark. The terrain of this city comprises deserts, lakes, vegetations, hills, canyons, plateaus and so forth, making it a much sought after tourist destination.
Summers can be very hot and temperature may rise up to 44°C in the months of June and July. Winters (December and January) can be very cold where temperature can reach freezing levels.
The economy of this city is dependent on its tourism sector and the smaller manufacturing sector. Recreational infrastructure and public utilities are the most important employers in the city.

Overall Guide : Page has some nice amusement places. The most popular one is Colorado River Discovery.  It is a place for smooth water rafting and it has great scenic beauty. There are some tours that can be experienced, like the Grand Canyon ... Leggi tutto Helicopter Tour. A few national monuments, museums and heritage centers make this place even more interesting. Places like the Lonely Dell Ranch Historic District, John Wesley Powell Museum, Navajo Village Heritage center and Rainbow Bridge National Monument are mostly liked by people. The nearby townships of Page are Kaibeto, Tuba City, Kanab, Fredonia, and Kayenta. Annual Festival of Lights Boat Parade is a local festivity and is celebrated popularly here. It is a festival that benefits the American Cancer Society. Admission to this event is free. The beauty of this event is that boats are beautifully decorated. After the ceremony is over the best boat is awarded with a prize.
