Overall Guide : Milan Duomo is the largest Gothic-styled cathedral in the world and is especially visited for its famed golden statue. The masterpiece titled ‘Last Supper’ painted by Leonardo da Vinci himself is housed in the Santa Maria della Grazie. The church... more of San Satiro with its high altar and the Capella della Pieta with its ornate columns and frescoes are in the vicinity. The Sforzesco Castle houses a number or small museums containing pieces of art of great masters and findings from archaeological digs in the Lombardy area. While in Milan, be sure to venture out into the Niagli area for some of the best designer boutiques of Europe or to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, the world’s oldest shopping mall. The grand Carthusian monastery in the nearby town of Pavia makes for a one-day trip from Milan; it is still home to some monks. Another neighbouring town is Cremona renowned for its pink marble cathedral and beautiful piazzas.

Overall Guide : Leave the center, walk around in search of hidden corners or take a stroll through the shops. You'll never get tired of Milan, ask the locals where to go, don't rely only on tourist guides, there's much more to see.... more Corso Como, Corso Buenos Aires, Porta Ticinese! Try to enjoy the city in every way: culture, shopping, nightlife and other events. Happy holidays

Overall Guide : There is an absence of any directions to the main centres of interest, especially when you start going out into the suburbs, compared to other foreign cities. When you think of Milan, you think centre. How many times I've pointed... more out to visitors a few steps from the cathedral where to go.
