Reviews Valletta

Overall Guide : Valetta is home to many museums such as the National Museum of Archaeology, which displays centuries-old architectural discoveries, and the National Museum of Fine Arts, which has a collection of art and sculpture spanning several eras. One of the prime attractions... more of Valletta is a tour of the old fortified city. A tour along the walls takes you through the bastions, alleyways and various interesting structures within the walls. The St John’s Co-Cathedral is very grand with painted vaulted ceilings and marble tombs; it houses eight chapels, all richly decorated and adorned. The Palace of the Grandmaster used to serve as a royal residence; it is now used as an administrative seat for Malta. It also contains portraits and other art and a furniture and tapestry collection. The Casa Rocca Piccola still serves as a royal residence, but parts of the palace are open for public viewing.

Overall Guide : When visiting Valletta make sure to first see the audiovisual show and docudrama Valletta Living History. That way you will receive the best introduction to the city. It is based right in the centre of Valletta making it a good... more starting point. There are also many good options for eating in Valletta, good coffee shops for lunch and great restaurants of all sorts for dinner. Valletta is the hearth beat of Malta. Everything happens there during the date, and it becomes mystical at night.

Overall Guide : I hate the new entrance buildings they do not conform to a beautiful heritage city. As for the Opera House what is being done is a disgrace to the people of Malta.

Overall Guide : It's very old, very beautiful, and fun! The Grand Master's Palace is wonderful, and it's open to visitors! The traditional covered, colorful balconies are beautiful ... saint john cathedral is beautiful ... Next to the cathedral there is a traditional... more English red telephone box, it looks so sweet! Otherwise, the whole island is wonderful, especially on the coast! I highly recommend it!
