Quezon City was previously the capital of Philippines. It is located on the island of Luzon. It is a city with the maximum population. Quezon City is one of the cities that proudly make up the Metro Manila which is the National Capital Region.
The city is placed on a plateau on the metropolis between Manila and the Marikina River Valley. A narrow part of the Juan River passes through this city. The city is named after Manuel L. Quezon, who then was the president of the Philippines.
As it served as a capital, there are many government offices located here. Two world class universities namely the Ateneo de Manila University and also the University of the Philippines are located inside this city. The majority of the population here is Roman Catholic and this is explained by the number of churches in this city. Another notable feature here is the distribution of government units called as barangays. This city is divided into 142 barangays and this allows the proper execution of administration.

Overall Guide :           Quezon is a vast city with much diversity and at its center lies the Quezon memorial where the interration of the late president took place. It is a monument made of complete marble and is the largest man-made structure in the city.... more Surrounding the great monument is a Quezon Memorial Circle which runs a stretch of 2 kilometers. There is a very important commercial center called the People Power Monument. Next to it is the Araneta center which is a huge shopping complex spread up to 35 hectares of land. For entertainment reasons a collection area called the Araneta Coliseum was constructed to hold musical concerts, wrestling matches, games and even circus shows. It has a huge capacity of seating 50,000 people. This city is often talked about for having a rich night life. The Cubao and the Bagumbayan areas are considered to be the hippest areas suited for party animals. A church named Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is also much respected here.

Overall Guide : Its a fantastic place to visit especially if your out to have fun. They have a million of places to eat, which, let me tell you personally, are very delicious. They have tons of bars and disco if you are... more out to have fun. The night life isn't as big as Manila but it's worth a shot. But dont take it from me go there yourself and try out the place.

Overall Guide : Quezon City is a nice city especially when you pass by at Iglesia Ni Cristo Central office, chapel and schools, the vicinity is quiet and clean. the major road is wide. Only at the corner of EDSA and quezon Blvd.... more there are plenty of magnanakaw which i think it came from the nearby squatters around the vicinity of transco onward.
Not to be missed INC Museum , INC Temple , INC Tabernacle
