Majorca, also called as Mallorca, is one of the Balearic Islands located in the Mediterranean Sea.
Majorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands and is approximately 1400 square miles in size.
It enjoys a typically Mediterranean climate with warm summers and mild winters. The island's population is 750,000.
Tourism and Farming are the chief economic activities of Majorca. Agricultural products include almonds, figs, olives, lemons, oranges and wine.
If you find your way to the island’s pubs and restaurants you will be treated to the most popular dish ‘paella’ which consists of fish, chicken and vegetables combined with rice.
It has culture, history and beauty in abundance, and is also well endowed with pubs, high-rises and fish’n’chip shops.

Western Water Park is Mallorca's favorite water park. It is a great place for everyone to have fun and also offers multi-passenger rides beneficial to visitors if they are in a group. The famous Caves of Drach is also home to one of the largest subterranean lakes in the world namely Lake Martel, which is also known as Lago Martel.

Overall Guide : We have been to Majorca for past 7 years.. I would like to try somewhere different but our holidays our precious, my husband is a dairy farmer and he only gets one holiday a year.. so we always go back ... Leggi tutto there. Food good, people lovely, clean, safe, lovely shops for me.. which you dont always find when abroad... depending on where you are.. I could live there to be honest.. if we won the lottery!

Overall Guide : A good allround holiday destination, which suits all b udgets from small family run hotels to ultra luxurious properties. Resorts range from busy and frenetic such as Magalluf, to quiet and laid-back such as Cala San Vicente, or Puerto Pollensa.

Overall Guide : We have repeatedly visited Cain Picafort and stayed in Picafort Park Hotel. It is peaceful and the area is predominently flat.
