Palma de Maiorca, a city situated in the Islands to Transfer, is located in Spain. Situated in the catalan of Palma de Mallorca, it is one of the most popular European cities. The city has a total population of around 375,000 inhabitants.
Palma de Maiorca has a typical Mediterranean climate, characterised by hot and dry summers. The city has an ideal climate with very little rain and mild temperatures during spring and autumn.
Initially used as a Roman camp, the Talaiotic group were amongst the earliest inhabitants of the island. During the fall of the Roman Empire, the city witnessed a series of Vandal sackings.
Embroidery, glassblowing, leather works, ceramic work and wicker goods are important cultural elements practiced throughout the city. Tourism is the largest money-earning sector in the city.

The place is quiet and is surrounded by mostly building and houses. There are few galleries and museums around the end of the old city. Towards the old town there is built the famous Cathedral known as the Convent of the Cathedral and the Banys Àrabs. Football is the main sport of this town; tennis and road cycling are also very taken care off by the people. There is a harbor with a castle od Bellver around the sea port and is very mesmerizing. Sea food is a staple of this area and is the dishes are relished.
