Krabi, a charming town situated at the border of the Krabi River is the capital of the Krabi Province. The town, home to a population of about 25,000 residents, boasts of some beautiful mainland beaches and seaside cliffs. A natural scenic beauty, Krabi has one of the best beaches and bays in Southeast Asia.
Krabi is typified by a tropical climate which stays warm all year round. The period from November to March witnesses a pleasant, breezy weather while May to October is the monsoon period. February to April is the best time to visit owing to good weather.
This enchanting town was a small community about ten years ago; today, it is a lively city bustling with activity. The town has developed into a major tourist spot for its beaches and various recreational options.

The Khao Khanap Nam Mountains are among the most popular and noticeable attractions surrounding this town. The mountains encircle the river in a beautiful manner and the alluring caves make the place well worth a visit. The Phi Phi Islands, also known as the ‘Jewel of the Andaman Sea’, is a picturesque location with a serene blue sea backed by lush, green mountains and sandy bays. The islands are a popular diving destination. The Wat Klong Thom Museum displays artefacts from the bygone era like beads, stone tools and ornaments.

Overall Guide : Best from Krabi is to go to swim in the close 5 islands, water is incredible clear and fresh , stunning views and quite safe as not so far from main land. Koh Kai, Koh Tab etc etc. Foods eventhough quite ... Leggi tutto spicy but tasty and has unique dishes of the area ie. Nam Ya Poo . Locals are very friendly and if you go at the fruits season ,you will enjoy all the fresh and sweet fruits ie Long Gong,Rambutan, Mangostene and south orage-SomJook.
