Fraserburgh is a town that is situated in the Aberdeenshire area of Scotland. It is present on the northeast corner of Aberdeenshire, and is 64 km to the north of Aberdeen, a famous city in Scotland, 27 km to the north of Peterhead. It is one of the largest shellfish port in Europe that makes it a very busy commercial harbour. According to the 2001 census the population here was 12,454. The major part of the economy here is heavily dependent on fishing as it provides employment to about 65%25 of the population in the town which is a very high rate. The presence of many churches in the city indicates that the main religion followed here is Christianity. The town has a promising version of the Doric dialect. A considerable portion of the total area is in water due to which there are many beaches here forming the center of attraction for tourists. Due to its location in the Northern Province the climate over here is often cool with temperatures below 0 degree in winters.

Overall Guide : Lack of entertainment and resources for all age groups. Town centre full of charity shops. Not a good shopping area. Nice shore walks ruined by litter, broken glass. Heritage Centre and Light House main attractions in the town hours curtailed.

Overall Guide : There is nothing for children to do and very little for the adults either the thing fraserburgh could have is a picture house. Some night entertainment for the young adults.

Overall Guide : Fraserburgh is a lovely place to see, there is a harbour that you can visit and in the early morning you can see the fishing men coming in with the fish.
