Lappa Valley Steam Railway is very popular with children and adults alike, a visit to this place makes for a wonderful day spent .You can ride the trains, canoe, play miniature golf and grab a bite to eat all at the same place. The staff is very friendly and helpful too. Buccaneer Bay Newquay offers a tour of the coves and the caves and information about the history of pirates and folklore of pirates. Other places of interest that deserve a mention are The Trerice House, The Japanese Garden, The newquay Zoo, Oasis Fun pools , Blue reef aquarium and last but not the least the Honeywell bay fun park.

There are colourful dance performances accompanied by parades which are led by the Oss, who is a huge monster wearing a large, scary mask. An educating and entertaining place is the Newquay Zoo, where visitors can enjoy close encounters with exotic animals.
