Bowmansville is a small hamlet situated in Erie County in New York in USA. The region is named after the owner of sawmills on Ellicott Creek, namely Benjamin Bowman. The mills were owned by the family for 50 years and were later passed on to a person called John Pentelow. The Ellicott Creek lies near the hamlet and bordering this is the Pfohl Brothers Landfill. The exact location of Bowmansville is at 42º56’27”N 78º41’5”W. The hamlet had a train station off Maple Drive. A few of the major business which are carried out here include golf clubs and restaurants. New York has a humid continental climate with hot, moist summers and cold winters.
