Located on the River Big Thompson in Larimer County is the city of Estes Park. This city has a population of approximately 6,000 residents. The city was founded in 1859 by Joel Estes.
Estes Park experiences cool winters and relatively warm summers. July and August are the warmest months of the year with a maximum average temperature of around 26°C. The topography of this mountainous city is absolutely brilliant with mountains covered with green and yellow grass, colourful flowers, lush forests and rivers that flow through the vegetation.

of local wares. There are a large variety of hotels to accommodate any budget. Also, there are cabins and campgrounds for rent in the surrounding mountain towns, such as Allenspark. Not-to-miss sites are Rocky Mountain National Park; don't miss driving the Old Fall River Road. It is a hatch-back one lane dirt road going up the Mountain. Amazing View!
