Huntington Beach lies in the Orange County in southern California in the USA.
This seaside city is surrounded by Fountain Valley on the east, Pacific Ocean on the west, Costa Mesa on the south and Seal Beach on the north.
The city is known for its beaches and has a mild, pleasant climate which is excellent for surfing. It has a total area of 31.6 sq miles and a population of 194,436 inhabitants according to the 2006 census.
Huntington Beach has the lowest level of unemployment among the large cities of United States. The weather is generally warm, sunny and dry in summer and cool and dry in winters.
Rainfall is low and frost rarely occurs. In June the warm air which meets the cool air of the sea can cause foggy and overcast conditions at times.

Overall Guide : The city is the number one surfing destination for the family and is selected as one of the top 5 destinations for parents and teenagers by the New York Post. There are a number of public parks, jogging, walking, skating,... more biking and riding trails, a marina, equestrian trails, wildlife preserve, shopping and dining facilities. Huntington Beach is conveniently located near 3 airports and provides a range of hotel accommodation from dazzling seafront resorts to budget motels and more. Huntington Beach Central Park is a three hundred and fifty acre park which has a nature trail, two lakes and 6 miles of hiking trails. The park also has 2 playgrounds, ducks, geese, lots of trees, a golf course and restaurants. Huntington Central Park Equestrian Centre is a horse riding school which has over twenty five acres of stables, riding trails and rings, boarding for four hundred horses and a party facility as well.
