Overall Guide : Historically Dayton a factory city with a dwindling population, but now that industry is gone the air is much improved, and downtown not polluted. Suburbs have grown as core city stagnated, but area had net out migration (for people living... more in Franklin, that means more people moved out than in) Beavercreek, Miamisburg, areas of growth, Costs not cheap. If you want to retire - go to Florida, or where I tend to go Texas. Texas is cheaper, and has lots of jobs. Try the little towns of Seguin, Kerrville, or Ingram TX - friendly like Ohio once was, and good neighbors.
Not to be missed Bike along Miami River -Miamisburg , See Courthouse Square - Dayton , Victory Theatre downtown Dayton
