Overall Guide : Placerville is a great community in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It is near where gold was first discovered in California at Sutter's Fort. El dorado county has so many fun things to offer like hiking trails, skiing,... more shopping and wine tasting just to name a few.
Not to be missed Gold Bug Park , Apple Hill , Downtown Placerville
