The neighbouring village of Kaprun is another popular location known for its glacier, a twelfth century Roman castle and its water reservoirs. Some of the other popular attractions are the Vogtturm Homeland Museum, Hetzhaust Museum and Klamm Lake. The city also provides a number of summer activities like swimming, hockey, paragliding and ballooning. The city also hosts a number of festivals and events; some of the most popular ones being the Lake Festival and Zeller Edelweisen Festival.
