Malahide is a coastal suburban town situated near Dublin, within the County Dublin, in Ireland. The name, Malahide, means ‘Sand-hills of the Hydes’ and it is worth visiting for its wealth of interesting sights. Once here, one can get to see many cobble lock side streets having a welcoming feel to it, pubs like Duffy’s and Gibney’s and retail facilities and services like food outlets, salons, boutiques, especially at street junction named ‘the Diamond’. Must visit places are the Malahide Castle and its gardens, the Marina, home to over 300 yachts, variety of sports clubs representing games like cricket, golf, sailing, etc. and historic places like the two Roman Catholic parishes.

Overall Guide : Malahide just love everything about it. Beautiful scenery friendly people great shops pubs, entertainment and an amazing choice of places to eat. Have stayed here 3 times now and already organising my next trip.
