The Republic of Ireland, Capital City Dublin, covers an area of 70,000 km2 with 4,000,000 people speaking English as an official language, but Gaelic is widely diffused, though!
Ireland, often called the Emerald Isle for its extraordinary green countryside, is wordly famous for its past culture, traditions and the warm friendly behaviour of the locals.
Many are the attractions for those who love nature: secluded, hidden springs, rocks, cracks and caves.
But Ireland is a land suitable for both hiking and biking, too!
Unforgettable for any body who loves quiet and peace in communion with nature are Galway, , Killarney, the Burren district, Connemara.
Interesting is, no doubt a visit at Trinity College in Dublin!
Immagine The Great Book of Ireland is preserved there; in one volume arthe works of more than 280 artists, among writers, musicians and painters.

Overall Guide : Many are the castles, mansions and museums widespread in the whole country. Dublin is rich of literary references, not to forget Joyce’s Dubliners. In it are some delicious 18th buildings such as the Customs House, the Bank of Ireland... more and Trinity College housing a lovely library with valuable works, among which The Book of Kells containing verses in latin from the New Testament written and illustrated by monks at the end of the 8th century. The National Museum and the National Gallery are worthy a visit, not to forget its two cathedrals, Christ Church and St. Patrick’s, and castle .

Overall Guide : It's beautiful and charming, a very livable city, with varied landscapes, sea and hills. Beautiful, I would go back now. I also did a tour of Ireland by car and I saw breathtaking scenery, small villages, fabulous nature. The time... more required to see everything is at least two or three weeks. In 8 days we were only able to see a small part.

Overall Guide : Don't miss the Guinness Hopsore and go to the Brazen Head pub after for a real experience. Dublin is generally friendly but some areas feel a bit dodgy. The area around Grafton street is best for nightlife, but stay between... more St stephens Green and the Liffey.
Not to be missed hopstore , Brazen head , Grafton Street
