The picturesque town of Alberobello, is situated in the region of Puglia, in the south-west of Italy.
Alberobello is best known for being “the Capital of the Trulli”. The trullo is a unique architectural feature of this area of Puglia. It is a white-washed building with a conical roof and has a fairytale quality.
As Alberobello has collection of around 1,500 trulli, it has been designated a UNESCO world heritage site.
Although some of the trulli are now used as shops, restaurants, and hotels, many are still inhabited by locals.

In the trulli area, in the aia piccola neighbourhood, it feels as though you are going back in time, "fantastic", you can meet older people who take you into their houses to show you what it looks like inside a... more trullo. And to give you a magical exprience, they give you a piece of homemade bread and some local cheese, it's not to be missed.

A wonderful place to walk around. Explore the Trulli, (many of which offer free admission), and let yourself be spoiled by the country cooking of the many local restaurants. By all means try the taralli (bagels) and the orecchiette in... more the Donato restaurant/tavern in the nearby village of Coreggia.

Fantastic characteristic town for the famous Trulli ... it will definitely be a unique and unforgettable experience! WONDERFUL environment, perfect for children. Not to mention the fantastic food on offer, full of very authentic little cafes and restaurants ... not... more to be missed!
