Denver is the capital of the state of Colorado, USA. The city lies in the South Platte River Valley, east of the Southern Rocky Mountains. It has been given the title of ‘The Mile-High City’ because it is exactly one mile (approximately 1600 m) above sea level.
The Denver International Airport with its attractive rooftop design is the eleventh busiest airport in the world.
Denver is a sunny city, with around 300 days of sunshine in a year; average temperatures range anywhere between –10°C during winters to around 28°C in summers. Summer thundershowers are common.
With more than 560,000 inhabitants staying within city limits, the city is the twenty-seventh most populous state in the US. The economy of this large city is centred on tourism and industrial storage/distribution, owing to its preferred geographic location.

Overall Guide : Denver is said to be the City of Festivals, with at least two festivals taking place every month. The city proudly displays its ‘Mile High’ title with a gold band embedded in the steps leading to the downtown State Capitol ... Leggi tutto building. The Denver Botanic Gardens boasts of around 32,000 plant species, while the Red Rocks Park remains a famous tourist landmark with its huge outdoor concert venue, the ‘Amphitheatre’. A Rock and Roll Museum, restaurants and hiking trails can also be found at the park. Another must visit is Denver Zoo with its collection of over 144 endangered species. LoDo, an exciting part of town with its restaurants, bars and nightclubs, is also a worth visiting. Fulfil your shopping fantasies at the popular and bustling Market Street. Also see the Ellie Caulkins Opera House (one of only nine in the world today) with its spectacular acoustical hall.

Overall Guide : It's definitely worth seeing, at least as far as my tastes go. Of course it takes a little time to see it all, as it should. Maybe go during the summer holidays so that it all goes smoothly. I think ... Leggi tutto summer is the best. Seeing is believing, and why not since there's a lot to see in the surrounding area. NB: you have to go there in good company, take someone who has the spirit of adventure like you.

Overall Guide : Ciudad modelo en lo referente a seguridad organización limpieza, excelentes centros comerciales y oulets. Quizás le falta ampliar su flota de taxis y lineas de metros, pero los autobuses tienen excelente desempeño.
