The Rosa Park Museum is a must visit for its superb recreation of the famous Montgomery Bus Boycott Movement. For a beautiful, sunny picnic, one must visit the Blount Cultural Park. Some of its attractions include horticulture and a recreation building. Attracting more than 300,000 annual visitors, the Alabama Shakespeare Festival is the foremost attraction of Montgomery. A must visit for all shoppers is the Montgomery Flea Market. Also visit the Montgomery Zoo, housing over 150 species from over five continents in a natural, barrier-free habitat.

Overall Guide : All depends on which neighborhood you are in. Some parts of Montgomery are safe enough to walk alone at night. Some are not safe enough to sit on the porch in the daytime.
Not to be missed the riverfront , downtown at night , historic buildings and cemeteries
