The city of Portsmouth is situated in Virginia State's US Commonwealth.
The city is known for the historical base of the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Though Norfolk City is located on the opposite side of Portsmouth, the Navy Yard was given the above name. Portsmouth city lies in Virginia State of the United States.

The museum exhibits an array of aircraft carriers, pleasure aircrafts, water... more crafts and various other artefacts. Tourists can learn about the naval history of Virginia from this collection. The Cedar Grove Cemetery is the oldest burial ground in the city. It was established in 1832 and is listed under the historical sites of Virginia. The Children's Museum of Virginia possesses various recreational activities for kids. It includes the Lancaster Antique Toy and Train Collection, a planetarium, wall for rock climbing and a huge bubble making station. The admirers of performing arts can visit the Commodore Theatre. It is a well restored, art deco styled motion picture theatre, which was built in 1945. It houses magnificent crystal chandeliers and upholstered seating. Tourists can experience driving a stock car at the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame and Museum. All sorts of sports information can be gathered from this museum.
