Overall Guide : Ski areas are a major attraction in Steamboat Springs. Places like Howelsen Ski area, Mount Werner and Yampa River Botanical Park are available for skiing. A museum that is a historic home and also a library is situated here. It... more is called Trade of Pioneers Museum. There is also an art gallery which has creations from some established artists and conducts art shows throughout the year. It is called Steamboat Springs Art Council. Cities that are close to Steamboat Springs are Hayden, Craig and Kremmling. Every year in the month of February there is a special event held here.It is called the Steamboat Springs Winter Carnival.  The special features of this event are Ski races, Ski jumping, Chariot racing, street events and dog sled pull. After a week of full enjoyment and fun the festival ends with a night show, synchronized skiing demonstrations and lovely fire works.

Overall Guide : Steamboat Springs is a great place with fun all around. “Fish Creek Falls” is a place which you can’t afford to miss. It is a best place from Colorado to spend a day. You can do hiking, picnic and spend... more quality time with your family here. Hiking between the beautiful waterfalls and greenery around seems magical. It’s a much busy place and make sure to reach here in the morning. In noon it’s difficult to get a parking place. “Yampa River Botanic Park” is another attraction spread over more than six acre of land and with more than 40 gardens around. It’s a beautiful park with colors of flowers spread over the land. You can find lot of unique species of birds, insect and flowers as well. Though you can reach directly but a simple walk in the park gives immense pleasure. Visiting the Botanic Park does not cost you but you can take healthy memories with you for free.
Not to be missed The Tennis Center at Steamboat Springs , Strawberry Park Natural Hot Springs , Yampa River Core Trail
