The most famous of the festivals here are the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, Mozart and Karlovy Vary Music Festival, International Festival of Tourism Films, Dvořák’s Karlovy Vary Autumn Festival and International Jazz Festival. The best buys in Karlovy Vary are the famous Moser Glass, the Karlsbad Wafers, the china, the thermal salt, the renowned herbal liquor Becherovka and of course the Mattoni bottled mineral water. The most important fact to keep in mind while travelling to Karlovy Vary is that the spa season is only between the 1st of May and the 31st of November.
