Southern Manhattan are Wall Street and the Stock Exchange accessibile during trading hours; A ferry from Battery Park takes tourists to the Statue of Liberty inaugurated in 1886. Wall Street and the Financial District, no doubt the most historic area where to admire the astonishing skyscrapers and thebold fashioned cobbles. People may enjoy their free time at Battery Park which offers rollerblading facilities as well as a superb panorama! Harlem, temple of African culture in America, home of wonderful jazz, extraordinary food, past tradition, thanks to its own fast growing economy is world famous! Greenwich Villange an area characterized by contraddictions unique in themselves! Anyhow, something cannot be failed when in New York: Niagara Falls, an always tempting excursion!

Overall Guide : We stayed just off of Times Square, did a lot of walking and shopping, found the staff at the hotel very pleasant and helpful, we enjoyed the whole New York Experience. We enjoyed the food and staff at the eateries ... Leggi tutto were very caring. The tour guide on the city open top bus was informative and funny, had a lovely ride in an open carriage followed by the most amazing breakfast at a restuarant recommended by the carriage driver. The thing we were disapponted with was the long queues to go to the top of the Empire State Building, it took several hours just to get to the first lift stop.. we aborted the rest of the visit so did not get to the top.

Overall Guide : Well I'm mainly talking about Manhattan here. A very busy vibrant city. Clean and safe. We never saw any dubious characters during our stay. So much history to enjoy, the people are friendly, the food very affordable but predictable. Tourism ... Leggi tutto is high, loop buses provide a highlight with humour hole delivering the very interesting history along the way. Bad point they think Aussies don't know about tipping.
